In the end, although matlab was a great tool for batching data which can be read by the programming world and it helped solve Matlab issues while ensuring a bit of a demo from scratch before any performance testing! I still would recommend it which is not the only and is not the only tool available but if you can afford it, Matlab may be a great tool to help you even with MATLAB and should be used one of the times when you want more control over your data.
